About PDF InkPad
PDF InkPad signs and fills PDF documents without sending them anywhere. You open a file, place a signature, initials, text, a date or a checkmark on any page, and download a signed copy. The signature can be drawn, typed or imported as an image.
Everything runs in your browser: pdf.js renders the pages, pdf-lib writes the result, and the only network requests are for the page itself and its fonts. There is no account, no upload and no analytics. If you tick “remember my signatures”, they are kept in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.
It is built and maintained by Interhive OÜ, a small studio in Tallinn that makes tiny, dependable web tools.
What it does
- Opens any regular PDF
Pages are rendered with pdf.js, the same engine Firefox uses. Rotated pages, scans and multi-hundred-page files all work; only password-protected files are refused.
- Signatures three ways
Draw with a pointer or finger, type a name in a script face, or import a PNG or a photo with the white background removed. Keep several signatures and initials, on this device if you choose.
- Text, dates and checkmarks
Text fields use an embedded Noto Sans, so Latin, Greek and Cyrillic all export correctly. Dates fill in with today's date in the current language and stay editable.
- A faithful export
pdf-lib writes the fields into a copy of the original. Vector text, links, bookmarks and page sizes are preserved; nothing is flattened to an image.
